Frozen Bitter melon production process
Bitter melon when reaching age then they will be harvested and transferred to the factory. Workers will choose beautiful and suitable fruits to produce frozen bitter melon.
They will be washed to remove dirt from the outside and transferred to the processing area.
The fresh bitter melon will be cut in half and removed the seeds, fibrous core then they are washed several times with clean water and transferred to the packing area.
They are vacuum packed in popular volumes like 500g, 1kg… frozen at a temperature of -40 to -35oC.
The Frozen Bitter Melon cut/whole have a shelf life of 24 months, if they are stored at -18oC.
