Okra is native to West Africa and usually grown in tropical or temperate regions, most commonly in the southern United States. Frozen Okra Whole is a product exclusively for frigid countries, where okra cannot be grown.

Okra is grown in southern Vietnam
In Vietnam, okra is grown a lot, popularly in the South. Each year grow 2 crops for the highest yield:
- From February to March, harvest from May to September.
- From the end of July to August, harvest from September to February next year.
Fresh okra has a high nutritional value, so after harvesting they should be stored in a refrigerator or frozen for longer storage.
